Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced, results-driven SEO Manager to lead organic growth
and local search visibility for US-focused campaigns. The ideal candidate will have at
least 5 years of hands-on SEO experience, strong technical and content skills, and
proven expertise with Google My Business and strategies to boost local SEO.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies that increase organic traffic, SERP rankings, and conversions for US markets.
● Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content, on-page, and UX decisions.
● Perform regular technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexability, site architecture, mobile optimization, schema, page speed) and implement fixes.
● Optimize on-page elements: meta tags, headings, internal linking, content structure, and landing pages.
● Manage and scale link-building outreach and digital PR to improve domain
authority.
● Own Google My Business (Google Business Profile) setup, optimization, GBP posts, reviews strategy, and location-based signals to drive local visibility and conversions.
● Design and execute local SEO strategies (citations, NAP consistency, local schema, local content, review acquisition) to boost multi-location and US local rankings.
● Monitor performance using GA4, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and produce actionable reports and dashboards.
● Collaborate with content, design, development, and paid teams to ensure SEO alignment across channels.
● Mentor junior SEOs and coordinate SEO tasks across stakeholders and vendors.
Required Qualifications & Skills
● Minimum 5 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house), with demonstrable results.
● Proven experience managing Google My Business / Google Business Profile and improving local search performance.
● Deep knowledge of technical SEO (site architecture, crawl optimization, canonicalization, mobile-first, structured data).
● Expertise with SEO toolset: Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and ranking/visibility tools.
● Strong on-page SEO and content optimization skills, with familiarity in WordPress, Shopify or other CMS.
● Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and experience working with development teams for deployment.
● Excellent analytical ability, reporting skills, and stakeholder communication.
● Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
● Certifications: Google Analytics, Google Search, HubSpot, or similar.
● Experience with international SEO and US-specific search behavior.
● Familiarity with CRO, paid search integration, and data visualization tools (Data Studio, Looker).
